More Paper Rolled Beads

I've made so many beads, I've had to open an Ebay store called Myauctionattic so please check it out.  I pretty much have my beads, jewelry, and coasters up for bidding.  I'm not doing to badly but wish I could sell more so I can make room for more.  Living in a 40' motor home doesn't allow me to store very much.

Recycled Paper Beads Listed at My Auction Attic

I am still making beads and pendants and have so much fun doing so.

Here's a pendant I made by staking scrapbook paper and using  solution to harden, I sanded and ground it to expose all the paper layers.  I love them all.

These next ones are rolled with magazine pages.

Another stacked paper pendant.  Love making these.

Paper Beads! Can't stop Making Them

Well, we can't complain about the rain here in Maple Valley, WA since we had only one day of rain all winter in El Centro.  It's a good excuse to stay home and drink hot tea and snuggle up with a good book.  Normally.

But I"m not normal.  I've been making paper beads for the last few days and listed a few on Ebay.  See HERE and scroll down a bit.

They are addicting!  I can't stop making them.  I'm making some pendants, too.

Seed Beed Ankle Bracelets

To pass my time and use up some seed beads, I did a search on seed bead ankle bracelets and came up with this:
(I should have turned the photo) They were fun and once I got past the first one, they went very quickly.  You can find the pattern on youtube by searching beaded ankle bracelets.  I'd give you the link but I downloaded it to my desktop and no longer have it.  She's with Off The Beaded Path.

I made a few other strung jewelry pieces that I"ll get photos of and post soon.

Today I'm making paper beads again.  I found an outstanding Facebook page HERE

You'll find the website for these beads below HERE

I really want to make these!  Paper sure can be a fun hobby.........LOVE IT!crafttestdummies_faux_lampwork_beads

Arts Mixed Media Painting Journaling

Art, mixed media, painting and Journaling is what has consumed my time lately.  I've decided to show off some of my art work on this blog.  I have been an artist for many years and have revived this wonderful and fun craft.  So I hope you'll come back and see my work.

Here's my first art post.

What I did was start with watercolor paper meant for a journal.  I layered on acrylic paint, glued some torn tissue paper,  dribbled paint down from the top on the left painting and added some detail with colored pencils and stencils.

I hope my photography techniques improves.  These were taken with my phone camera and later I will do them all again using my digital camera.  Hopefully, they'll come you much better.

So, if you have any questions, or want to comment, please do so.  And I thank you for visiting.  I'll be updating the photo.

Have a wonderful "artful" day.

Kathy
