Dreyers' New Frozen Custard!

Have you tried Dreyer's New Frozen Custard yet?  The pictures show just one delicious way to serve this outstanding new cold cream dessert!  If you have a birthday party, friends coming over for dinner, or just want something delicious for your family, you must try this new frozen custard by Dreyer's.

 

 

 

 

I have tried two of the flavors, the chocolate malt and the Old Fashioned Vanilla.  I love chocolate and I decided the vanilla would go perfect with fruit or hot apple pie or any hot fruit pie.  OH, the Snickerdoodle Frozen Custard as shown above!  The flavors are so pure and rich and I can't wait to try more.  Actually, I'm out of Dreyer's Frozen Custard right now so it is at the top of the grocery list for my next trip to the store.

Here's a watercolor I did from an online class.  I don't think it was a video but it sure was fun and I wish I could find more like it.  What do you think?

I've kind of switched to watercolor pencils and also to just colored pencils.  I should have some finished art to post soon but we're on the road again so until we settle someplace where I can finish my projects I started, I'll keep posting my watercolor art.

This was a tonal study.  At least I think that's what it's called.  My perspective isn't perfect but it isn't all that bad either.  This is my grandparents house that used to be in Minneapolis but was torn down for a freeway.

Watercolor Art Work

This is another watercolor I did in a class.  What we did was make a black and white color copy and then traced all the black areas.  Then those areas were filled in with ink.  You can see some of my ink dried dull and some not so dull.  The rest was watercolor painting.  This picture was taken on a hike while on vacation in Maui, Hawaii.  It was a very fun class and I was amazed it was "OK" to trace.  She was an artist in many galleries in the Kirkland, WA area at the time so guess it isn't a bad thing to do.  

This one was done about the same time I did the hollyhocks.  I was actually painting on silk at the time and this was a pattern I drew up for silk painting and then used it for watercolor.  I love love love it!  

Now I need to go design another composition for my next watercolor.

Art Work to Share

I can't believe it's been almost one whole year since I last posted any of my art.  Or posted at all!  Where has the year gone?  I've done a lot of art work but guess I've been too lazy to share it.

Where do I begin?  I hate posts that go on and on with huge long paragraphs.  I get bored.  I see that and won't even read it!  I wonder how many are like me that way.  So you hopefully, will never find that here.

I think I have to go back to my bead making days.  I love making paper beads but my box is overflowing with them and I can't use them all so I stopped.

So here's my watercolor paintings, just two of them for now.

This is my favorite flower or the one I remember when I was a child.  We actually were afraid of going near them because the really do attack bees.  These are my hollyhocks.  I didn't realize till recently, I love love love vibrant colors.  Some of that is coming.

This painting was done several years ago when I went to a watercolor class, which I forgot I attended.  Must have been in the 90s and it looks like our assignment was do paint a doorway.
