Colors of Summer Challenge

Colors of Summer challenge is sage and sepia this week!  I missed last week due to lack of data on my wifi plan so I will probably post it today, too.

I thought it looked more sage than it shows on my monitor.  It was fun and I'm glad I discovered colored pencils.

The week before was candy apple red and yellow, I think.  More colored pencils and my portfolios.  I know they look like they're floating but it's not really a still life, it's a picture of apples!  LOL

Come back again soon and happy creating!

These are gorgeous apples, regardless of the colors. Of course, the sage green ones are simply perfect for the final SOC colors. I am glad I got to see both entries together.

WOW, the green apple looks amazing. I thought at first it was done in pastel :). Great coloring for the red apples too!

Wow!! Love the apples, and you inspire me to get out the colored pencils! Sometimes I get stuck in one mode and forget to switch it up!.. Hope you're enjoying the weekend, and have a great week ahead! ~tina

Beautiful use of the colored pencils and portfolios, lovely work, and perfect use of the SOC colours as well...both weeks. :) Love the shading and depth you have created.
